I’ve discovered a Country Music Station up in Sonoma County. Yeah, we have the Wolf in the Bay Area and Froggy in Santa Rosa, but KTRY is a little different. While the other stations focus on all the new Nashville “Hitmakers” , KTRY mixes it up. Michael J the morning guy will play George Jones next to Tim McGraw. I get the feeling that the DJ’s not only like the music, they pick it; and that makes it a worthwhile listen and there aren’t too many commercials.
Since I’m not in Sonoma County and you lose the signal just before Petaluma I listen by way of their iPhone app. If you like Country Music (not just Taylor Swift and Dierks Bently) and have an ” i" anything, download this
