Bulleit, Bulleit! Oh Yeah!
I Love my bourbon whiskey!
And with all the running around I did today, I'm ready to settle down with a double of this stuff! Smokey, vanilla and caramel goodness and a chance to slow down!

Friday Slackin'. Hello Monday
So I slacked off on Friday in my effort to write a daily blog. I do have an excuse, the Hardly, Strictly Bluegrass free music festival was going on and it's only a mile from my apartment in SF. I'm a fan of Patty Griffin and had never seen her live, so I took the day off to wander down and catch her set. Buddy Miller and Emmy Lou Harris made a surprise appearance which made the whole thing that much cooler. Yeah... I was a happy guy!
But now that that's over and done with and the weekends gone, it's back to blogging.

Nashville in Napa 2010
When I can, I throw my support behind folks who raise money for music and arts education. It doesn't hurt that this particular event is held at a winery in Napa and featured Song writers from Nashville who've penned some of my recent favorite country songs.
Here's the video I made for this years Nashville in Napa event.
And if you find yourself in Napa, visit the Baldacci Family Vineyards, who hosted the event. Great Folks, beautiful location and great wine!!!

KTRY | Sonoma County Country
I’ve discovered a Country Music Station up in Sonoma County. Yeah, we have the Wolf in the Bay Area and Froggy in Santa Rosa, but KTRY is a little different. While the other stations focus on all the new Nashville “Hitmakers” , KTRY mixes it up. Michael J the morning guy will play George Jones next to Tim McGraw. I get the feeling that the DJ’s not only like the music, they pick it; and that makes it a worthwhile listen and there aren’t too many commercials.
Since I’m not in Sonoma County and you lose the signal just before Petaluma I listen by way of their iPhone app. If you like Country Music (not just Taylor Swift and Dierks Bently) and have an ” i" anything, download this app
If you don’t, you can still listen online.
Give it a whirl! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
